Movie posters

Brief

After recently pitching for a film festival
promotional poster I wanted to redesign the posters of some of my favourite films. his is an ongoing project and one that I hope to grow as I go.

Response

I have a real soft spot for Japanese fuedal period films, maybe its the hair and clothes, but more than likely its the titanic sinking amount of fake blood. One of my all time favourites is the film/ series 'Lone wolf and cub'
The classic samurai saga witnesses Ogami Itto's revenge (along with his infant son Daigoro) against the nefarious Yagyu clan, responsible for the death of his wife and loss of

status as shogunate executioner. Look on as he cuts a swath through untold underlings in order to meter out justice. Aired in the early 1970'a this Japanese epic is well worth a look if you enjoy stern expressions, stoic characters and fountains of arterial blood.

Another great love of mine are Wes anderson's movies. I like the redemptive narrative and excellent production values, not to mention the
fantastic characters and wonderful humour.
