Brasilia

Brief

I was kindly invited by 'Brasilia Prima', an Argentinian/ European design studio to participate and contribute to an exhibtion and celebration of Oscar Niemeyer and Brasilia's 50 year anniversary. The anniversary also coincides with the studio's 5 year anniversary too. Happy Birthday!

Oscar Niemeyer is one of the principle architects of his generation and responsible for the overall look and texture of Brazil's capital. Taking a cue from his curvilinear buildings, I referenced the structures themselves and the negative spaces they produce, contrived these shape into an overlapping multiplied mass of colourand form, which I hope conveys a sense of scale, depth and

My poster will be exhibited online on the 14th of May here and at a date to be confirmed in an exhibition space in Buenos Aires. 50 designers from around the world have been invited to participate so please head over and check it out if you have time.
